Ms. Flaherty is also the co-founder of ElderAngels, Inc., a non-profit organization that assists elderly victims of financial abuse. Through her work at ElderAngels, she has investigated hundreds of elder abuse cases and is considered an authority in this area of investigation. Ms. Flaherty's investigative work was highlighted in California Lawyer Magazine (Jan. 2000) for her part in uncovering corruption within the Riverside County Probate Courts.
